ASKION C-line® hermetic storage M/L

A number of modern biobanks faces the challenge of continuously increasing sample growth, as for example for cohorts and population studies required. To provide tese biobanks with the best storage solution the ASKION C-line® hermetic storage M and L have been developed. The storage modules offer a storage capacity of up to 1,000,000 vials per storage unit.

The HS200 M and L are standardly equipped with an internal Automation (Pick-and-Place-Robot). The robot has an innovative and patented gripper changing System that enables the automated handling of different sample formats. The Pick-and-Place-Robot is able to tansport both, single samples and SBS racks. At this the sample handling takes place at ambient temperatures down to below -130°C.

At the same time, all advantages of the HS200 S, like uninterrupted cooling chain, freedom of ice and the fully automated documentation, will remain.

The different models of the HS200 are compatible among each other and can be connected to a fully automated biobank solution, using the external automation (rail system).
