The ASKION C-line® hermetic storage HS200 S is the perfect module for entering the sector of high quality biobanking. The HS200 S is the optimal solution for cryo storage of cell lines or cell preparations due to its sample capacity of up to 50,000 vials, the semi automated sample handling and freely configurable sample formats (beginning from straws and vials with a work volume of 0.2 to 8.0 ml to tissue cassettes or blood bags with a volume up to 150 ml).
A fully automated sample handling is possible by using a Pick-and-Place-Robot that can be upgraded at any time (internal automation). Several HS200 S can be connected to each other using an external rail system (external automation). This enables a flexible and stepwise extension of the storage capacity of your biobank up to several hundred thousand samples, which are necessary, for example, in the field of laboratory medical applications. The transport between the single storage systems is done by special transport containers to ensure the uninterrupted cooling chain.
